Our roundup of this year’s styles that caught our eye

Height, style and nature, this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show celebrated it all, so here’s some swoon worthy images of our favourite picks of this year’s show - honestly we’re excited about next year’s event already.

People’s Choice - Best Show Garden winner’s were the ‘Welcome to Yorkshire’ garden. Wild, free and whimsical use of country flowers set with a backdrop of real country stone buildings and dry stone walling. This design reminded us of our Country Meadow bouquet, a celebration of Mother Nature at her most tranquil, yet free.

If you’ve been into our newly decorated shop any time recently, you’ll see why the Morgan Stanley Garden caught our eye - their use of copper, brass and wood to produce this stocked flower garden with a modern design twist. Perfectly executed. And yes we want it in our garden.

Of course we completely wanted to play in the Duchess of Cambridge’s garden - who wouldn’t? She had designed a garden ready to pique little one’s curiosities of nature all mixed in with a good measure of play. The good news is that after the show elements of her design have been transported to the Devon Partnership NHS Trust Dewnans Centre to continue spreading the message of enjoying nature to children. Our Purity bouquet reflects her natural palette, very easy and tranquil on the eye …

Who else wants a hideaway like this? Awesome use of shape in the Dubai Majlis Garden…

We just wanted to stop, stare and pretty much live in Wedgwood’s garden - just look at their use of colour - so current and achingly beautiful. They offset the height and grandeur of their design by using pale peaches and deeper blushes, it just worked so well.

Finally, the The Savills and David Harber Garden was where I wanted to sit and read a book or just gaze. They’d captured a meadow feel with buttercups and cow parsley that led the way through to the pond which as you can see had this striking sculpture. Using an eye-catching feature in flower and garden design elevates the overall effect and takes it to a new level. I’ve stared at this particular one for a long time - it’s obviously in my head marinating away - it will be interesting to see how I can reflect this element in one of my own designs.
